CCIS is a single largest multilingual application to create and
provide secure and sharable databases at Police Station, District, State and
National level. It provides an efficient way of organizing crime records for
generating enquiries/reports and crime analysis for decision support. Once
fully implemented up to Police Station level, this may be one of the largest
application functioning in a network environment in the World.
The software development is to be viewed as dynamic and is to be perfected
after its regular and extensive usage by the users. The users are advised to
keep record of their observations as well as suggestions, if any, to be
